A101 acts as a water repellant to brick, block and concrete substrates.The aesthetics of the surface treated is not altered by the +- 10 mm impregnation.The base is quartz, therefore durability is long term.

APPLICATION

Implant treatments by either dipping or spraying."In situ" application by low pressure spray is recommended (knap Sack) , to saturation and run off. Surfaces should be clean, sound and dry. Wipe down glass and window frames immediately after application. Adequate eye protection is required ( goggles). Wash hands and equipment with soapy water after using A101.

COVERAGE

Coverage of 4 m2 to 6 m2 per litre. A two coat application applied wet on wet is required.

ADVANTAGES

A101 inhibits the migration of moisture and in so doing prevents carbon build-up, lime staining and fungal growth, thus maintaining the general aesthetics of masonry products.

APPROVAL

A101 has been tested by rain penetration test SABS 0400 (KK 17.1). An independant test by Draper Penhall & Associates, concluded that SILISEAL products provide an excellent barrier against water absorption.

B101 Sealant provides an excellent barrier against water absorption.

Permanent waterproofer / plaster primer.

Penetrates 5 mm to 8 mm on plaster work and 2mm to 3 mm on previously painted surfaces.

Plaster should cure for at least 5 days prior to the application of B101.

“In situ” application by low pressure spray (back pack) , to saturation and run off.

Wash hands and equipment with soapy water after using B101.

ECONOMICS

Primer paint may be dispensed with. Paint yield per sq. metre is greater using B101.Bagging and bitumising may be dispensed with. Creates waterproof single skin walling systems.

APPROVAL

B101 has been tested by the SABS. Test results show conclusively that the product meets the requirement of the rain penetration test SABS 0400 (KK 17.1) a test by Draper Penhall & associates concluded that B101 waterproofing provides an excellent barrier against water absorption. The product has been successfully used over the past sixteen years.

Warranty

The product carries a 5 year manufacturers warranty.

Creates a damp course in walls , preventing rising damp.

APPLICATION

9 inch / cavity / block walls

1) Drill hole approximately 200mm above the slab levels at 300 mm intervals. The hole must be drilled through to the cavity, using a +- 7mm drill bit.

2) Insert a tube through to the cavity and by means of a gravity feed or low pressure weed spray system, pump 2 litres into a hole.

3) Re-plug and decorate the drill holes.

4) Wash hands and equipment with soapy water after use.

COVERAGE

6 Litres per running metre.

EFFECTS

The damp Course material is absorbed into the building materials, creating a capillary barrier.

Waterproofer for flat roofs or balconies with falls.

Waterproofer for lining and tanking.

COVERAGE

Coverage of 1 m2 to 2 m2 per litre.

DRYING TIME

2 hours between coats.

APPLICATION

Apply the Slurryseal using a block brush, allowing 2 hours between coats.

Mix quantities as requierd.

Slurryseal can be used in conjunction with Ecofelt membrane.

Slurryseal is extremely difficult to remove once it has set.

Apply Slurryseal to required thickness-3 coats.

MIX:

1 Litre Slurryseal to 2 Litre water to 3 parts cement.

Use SABS grade cement only.

ECONOMICS

Creates waterproof decking systems in conjunction with Ecofelt. The Slurryseal System is maintenance free. Tiles can be laid directly onto Slurryseal.

Bonds jointing sand particles together.

Prevents wind and water erosion of joints.

Reduces penetration of liquids through joints.

Inhibits weed growth between joints.

APPLICATION

The Eco-Binder system can be applied by watering can, knapsack sprayer , watering carts or with long pressure hoses for those inaccessible slopes.

PREPARATION

Due to varying sand types, it is advisable to conduct tests with the specific sand particles to be treated. Eco-Binder is diluted with water, prior to application with a 1:10 ratio.

COVERAGE

Depending on the particle size and porosity, apply between 0,5 and 2 litres per square metre. ( Conduct sample tests to evaluate penetration level)

EFFECTS

Eco-binder is absorbed into substrate and does not alter the colour. The product is non toxic and eco-friendly.

ECONOMICS

Material costs vary according to application.

Waterproofing of porous concrete blocks, plaster work and roof tiles. Permanent waterproof coating. Acribond is available in arrange of colours.

APPLICATION

By roller or brush.

Wash hands and equipment with water after use.

Apply Acribond as a two coat system, and depending on the condition of the substrate to which it is applied, a second coat may be required.

COVERAGE

3 m2 per litre on concrete block work.

DRYING TIME

2 hours for normal application.

ADVANTAGES

Siliseal Acribond is an excellent waterproofer, and has been SABS tested for UV resistance. Acribond has flexural strength properties so often required for the absorption of structural movement.

PACKAGING

Available in 20 litre and 200 litre containers.
